Sally Thomson – Operations Manager

Sally Thomson is one of our longest standing members of staff, working part time for many years after the birth of her two sons soon after she joined the practice in 1995, returning to full time as they grew up. She completed her Cert IV Veterinary Nursing in 2011 (a formality, as she had been excelling in the work for years).

Sally is the ultimate veterinary nurse, as she is totally focused on ensuring the vets have all the assistance they need to work efficiently. Sal has played an integral role in the administration of the practice where she takes responsibility for stock control, ensuring efficient management of our extensive stock of drugs & equipment. Sal is also a great mentor and trainer for less experienced staff, despite her peculiar opinion that everyone should own a bulldog, and was appointed Operations Manager at the beginning of 2019. She’s also a gun goanna grabber!
